How To Apply
1Remove old compoundOpen the cooler assembly and gently remove the old thermal material from the chip / heat spreader and cooler contact plate.
2Clean & dryClean both mating surfaces thoroughly with an appropriate electronics-safe cleaning method. Leave no residue, fibers or moisture.
3Apply ULTRAPlace a controlled amount on the direct-contact area. Use only enough compound to create a thin continuous interface once the cooler is mounted.
4Mount evenly & testSet the cooler down straight, tighten the mounting pattern evenly, reconnect the system and verify temperatures under a normal load.
Application note: ULTRA is designed for direct-contact interfaces. Do not use thermal paste to bridge physical component gaps that require a thermal pad.
